Bunk Card

How do I order a card?

You can order your card online or by clicking here. There are 2 different cards to choose from. If you are here for just a few weeks or a few months, you can choose the 3 month card (Valid for 3 months from date of purchase) or the annual card (Valid for 12 months from date of purchase).

Please make sure you pick the right card as once an order has been processed you cannot change the order.

Is paying online safe?

Yes, it is 100% safe. We use a secure payment gateway system (SSL).

Can 2 or more people use the same card?

No. Each person must have their own separate card to receive the discounts.

I do not have a NZ address, what do I do?

We can send the card to your first hostel address that you are staying at in New Zealand. You will need to make sure you redeem your purchased voucher and let us know where you would like to pick the card(s) up from.

Once you arrive we will have your card waiting for you.

What discounts do I get with a Bunk card?

You will also get money off hostels throughout NZ, $1-$5 per night, so make sure you check out our hostel page to find out where to save. Being a member of Bunk allows you to save 5% on all activities through the website. Just put in your promotional code at checkout.

I have bought a card but wish to receive my 5% discount straight away.

We will always send you a confirmation email once an order has been processed. In the email we will give you the promotional code to get your 5% discounts straight away.

I cannot find the code to receive my 5% discount. What do I do?

Don’t panic. Just contact us and we will be able to sort this out for you. Make sure you supply us your membership number, name and contact details to speed up the process.

I bought the 3 month card but I now want the annual card. Can I change it?

Unfortunately, no. You will need to purchase either the 3 month or annual card on the checkout stage. No exchanges are allowed.

How do I book an activity?

Once you are in an activity that you like, just click on the “Add to Cart” button. You can continue to shop on the website and add a few items to your cart if you desire. You can pay for it all at the same time.

Don’t forget to include your 5% discount code. (This is given to you once a card has been purchased online or registered).

I forgot to add in my 5% discount code when purchasing an activity.

You must put in your code before you purchase your activities. If you forget to do this when you pay, it is too late. If this has happened, please let us know and we will see what we can do for you as we want you to be a happy Bunk customer.

There is an activity I want to buy but I cannot find it on your website.

This might be because we are not selling that activity, so please let us know. We want to be offering you activities that you want to buy. We will always be changing our activities depending on the season.

I no longer want the activity I purchased.

Each activity has different terms and conditions, so please read them. If cancelled with a minimum of 48 hours we will refunded minus the service fee (check terms and conditions for actual costs). If cancelled within 48 hours, no refund will be given.

The activity was cancelled by the operator. What do I do?

Contact the operator directly. They will be able to assist in resolving the issue. Bunk sells activities on the behalf of the service providers only and the contract is between yourself and the operator. Usually they will compensate you with a new voucher/ticket or give a partial refund if you cannot attend again in the future.
